"Sarah was a lifesaver when we rescued a dog that was diagnosed with Megaesophagus (ME.)She helped keep us calm while we learned everything. Truly a Godsend."

"My experience with Martha on 2 separate occasions were nothing short of phenomenal! Martha went above and beyond to care for my kitty kat Sammie when he was at his sickest and I could not be there. She initiated his medication, helped him through the first few days in becoming accustomed to even being on medication. She sat with him while he begrudgingly ate his ‘special’ food. Martha played with him and comforted him when he needed it. Martha kept me fully informed and updated. I could not have imagined the level of care she provided was even possible. I will never forget the kindness Martha gave so freely to Sammie and to me…Martha is priceless!"

"I have a 16 year old shih-tzu and i have always been super nervous of leaving him. I came across VetterCare cause i was looking for a highly trained individual that would know how to care for a senior dog with some health issues. We did our research and i found Diana. Let me tell you she was "THE BEST". I have never in 16 years with my shih tzu been more comfortable with someone like i was with Diana. Now my dog misses her lol . She did an excellent job. She gave me constant updates, she sent us the cutest pics of Mr. Bossy, he was so happy and absolutely just loved her. If you are looking for the Best person to watch your fur pets i "HIGHLY" recommend Diana. Thank you Diana and VetterCare . Five stars all the way"

"Heather Schroeder takes care of giving sub Q fluids to my kitties. She’s exceptional at making it a comfortable experience for them. She’s extremely gentle with them.. so much so that they occasionally jump up on her lap for their turn!! She’s definitely a true “cat whisperer!”❤️"

"Sarah Draper was wonderful to work with! She walked us through the bandage changes while Presley was healing. She made sure to explain to us what she was doing, and why. And also informed us of things to look for so we would know if something was wrong. We would recommend her to everyone. So good with our Presley!! Thanks Sarah!"

    Frequently asked questions

Is in-home medical support in Glendale the same as seeing a vet?

No. Your veterinary professional carries out the plan your veterinarian has already prescribed — medications, monitoring, wound care, recovery support — in the comfort of your pet's home. They don't diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or replace regular vet visits.

Do I need to already have a diagnosis or prescription from my vet before booking?

It depends. We prefer clients to have one, and we request medical records for all medical bookings, since it helps your veterinary professional provide care that's consistent with what your veterinarian has already recommended. If you're not sure whether your situation qualifies, reach out and we can talk it through.

What kind of medical support can a veterinary professional provide at home?

Medication administration (pills, injections, and more), post-op monitoring and recovery care, wound care and bandage changes, and general condition monitoring — all following your veterinarian's written instructions.

What if my pet needs emergency care?

In-home medical visits are for ongoing, non-emergency care your vet has already outlined. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital right away.

Do you support pets with chronic conditions, like diabetes?

Yes. We offer specialized in-home support for pets managing diabetes and other chronic conditions, including insulin administration and routine monitoring.

How do I get started in Glendale?

Share your pet's condition, medications, and vet's instructions (along with medical records), and we'll match you with an experienced, background-checked veterinary professional near you.

Which parts of Glendale do you serve?

Our veterinary professionals live in North Glendale near Arrowhead, Central Glendale near Thunderbird, and Downtown Glendale, with more nearby in Peoria, Surprise, Youngtown, and Tolleson. Not sure we cover your street? Call (602) 887-4411 or start a booking and we'll let you know.

Can a Glendale veterinary professional give my pet's medications while I travel?

Yes. Your veterinary professional gives oral, injectable, or topical medications as your veterinarian prescribed, following their written instructions. VetterCare veterinary professionals follow your veterinarian's instructions and do not replace veterinary care.
